Play Stuff Everyone Should Know with your ears. I read you a card and three answers. Wait for the beep, then say A, B or C. Get it right and you hear the dad joke players voted funniest. Miss it and I tell you why.

Say "repeat" to hear it again, "skip" for the next card, "pause" to hold on, "change test" to pick another test, and "I'm done" to hear your score. Every step works with a tap too.

πŸš— Start it before you pull out, or let a passenger do it. Keep your eyes on the road: the game never needs the screen.

The voice sounds bad?

The voice comes from your phone. Pick another one above and tap Try. To get better voices:

Android: Settings, search "Text-to-speech". Set Preferred engine to Speech Services by Google, tap its βš™ gear, then Install voice data, English (United States), and pick a voice. Samsung phones start on Samsung's engine: switch it to Google, or download a Samsung voice there. Then reload this page.

iPhone: Settings, Accessibility, Spoken Content, Voices, English, and download an Enhanced or Premium voice (like Ava or Evan). Then reload this page in Safari.

In the car: while the microphone is on, Bluetooth switches to phone-call sound, which sounds worse. Untick "Answer by voice" once to hear the difference.

It doesn't hear me well?

Wait for the beep before you answer: the beep means the microphone is really on. Short answers work best: "B", "bravo", "the second one", or a word from the answer.
