What should you check before granting an app permission?
Whether the app truly needs that access.
- Whether its icon is blue
- Whether the permission is necessary ✔
- Whether friends use loud ringtones
Why: An app may request contacts, location, camera, or microphone access. Grant only what its function reasonably needs, and limit access to times when the app is in use.
Huh, didn't know that: Permissions can often be reviewed later in a device's privacy settings.
The flashlight app asked for contacts, so the phone said that seemed shady.
