Boat fire extinguishers must be Class B. What kind of fire is Class B made for?
Flaming liquids like gasoline, oil and grease.

Why: The Coast Guard guide says required boat extinguishers are Class B, marine type. Class B fights flaming liquids such as gasoline, oil and grease, the main fire risk around engines and fuel.
Huh, didn't know that: Required boat extinguishers come in 5-B, 10-B or 20-B sizes and must come with a mounting bracket.
Why did the firefighter wear red suspenders? To hold his pants up.
