SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/cadet-combined-command-fall-in
Which of these is a combined command, with no separate preparatory part?
FALL IN is a combined command, like AT EASE and REST.
- Right, FACE
- Forward, MARCH
- FALL IN ✔
Why: In a combined command, the two parts are merged into one. FALL IN, AT EASE and REST are given as one call, at a high, steady pitch and loud volume.
Huh, didn't know that: Informational commands, like PREPARE FOR INSPECTION, are another type: they give directions to junior commanders.
Why was AT EASE the cadets' favorite command? It was the easiest one to follow.
