SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/cadet-drill-ach4-commands-graded
On the Achievement 4 drill test, the cadet leads an element. What is graded?
Only how well the cadet calls the commands.
- How well the element marches
- Only how the cadet calls commands ✔
- How fast the element finishes
Why: The element's performance does not count. The testing officer checks knowledge (right foot), timing, voice, bearing and overall leadership, such as fixing the element if it falls out of step.
Huh, didn't know that: The cadet may look at a list of the commands during the test.
Why didn't the element worry during the test? It wasn't their turn to be graded.
