What does prejudice do to an individual?
It prejudges the person from a group trait.
- Evaluates only demonstrated performance
- Asks the person for facts
- Assumes traits before knowing the person ✔
Why: Prejudice substitutes an assumption for knowledge about an individual. Fair leaders judge conduct and performance instead of stereotypes.
