SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/cadet-pt-no-set-formation
What official formation does the Air Force require for physical training?
None. Units just spread out so everyone has room.
- The extended rectangle only
- None; spread out so everyone has room ✔
- A circle around the instructor only
Why: CAP drill rules give several ways to extend a formation for PT. The only goal is that each cadet can exercise without bumping a neighbor.
Huh, didn't know that: In cadence exercises, the instructor counts the cadence and the cadets count the repetitions.
Why did the cadet bring a ruler to PT? To make sure they had enough elbow room.
