Air brakes on a truck are really how many different braking systems?
Three: service, parking and emergency.
- Three ✔
- Two
- Four
Why: The service brake works with the pedal in normal driving. The parking brake works with the parking control. The emergency brake stops the truck if the brake system fails.
Huh, didn't know that: The emergency system uses parts of the service and parking brake systems.
