The President can serve only two terms. Why?

Because of the 22nd Amendment.

  1. The 19th Amendment
  2. The 22nd Amendment ✔
  3. The 25th Amendment

Why: The 22nd Amendment limits a President to two elected terms. USCIS also accepts "to keep the president from becoming too powerful." The 19th is women's voting and the 25th is succession.

Huh, didn't know that: The 22nd Amendment was ratified in 1951.

The dad joke
Why did the number 22 feel powerful? It knew when to say two is enough.
