What lights should you use when driving in fog?

Low-beam headlights.

  1. Low-beam headlights ✔
  2. High-beam headlights
  3. Hazard lights only

Why: High beams reflect off fog and cause glare, making it harder to see. Use low beams, slow down and leave extra following distance.

Huh, didn't know that: If the fog gets too thick to drive safely, pull off the road, turn on your emergency flashers and wait.

The dad joke
Why did the fog go to school? To become a little clearer!
