How are the electric and magnetic fields of a radio wave related?
They are at right angles.
- They are at right angles ✔
- They are parallel
- They travel at different speeds
Why: A radio wave has an electric field and a magnetic field. The two are perpendicular, 90 degrees apart, as the wave moves along.
Huh, didn't know that: Both fields are also at right angles to the direction the wave travels.
Electric and magnetic fields make a great team. They're right angle for each other.
