When must you transmit your assigned call sign?

At least every 10 minutes during a contact, and at the end.

  1. Every 10 minutes and at the end of a contact ✔
  2. Every 15 minutes and at the end of a contact
  3. Once at the start, then every 10 minutes

Why: FCC rules say to identify at least every 10 minutes during a communication and at the end of it. You do not have to ID at the start.

Huh, didn't know that: The rule also applies when you use tactical calls like Race Headquarters.
