SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/ham-ohms-law-voltage-formula
What formula is used to calculate voltage in a circuit?
E = I x R.
- E = I / R
- E = I2 x R
- E = I x R ✔
Why: Ohm's law gives voltage by multiplying current by resistance. In symbols, E = I x R.
Huh, didn't know that: One ampere through one ohm produces a one-volt drop.
How does Ohm's law find voltage? It multiplies its chances.
