How do you make sure unusual words in a voice message are received correctly?
Spell them using a standard phonetic alphabet.

Why: Over a noisy radio, letters like B, D and E sound alike. Spelling an odd word as Bravo, Delta, Echo gets it through correctly.
Huh, didn't know that: Hams use the same phonetic alphabet pilots use: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and so on.
