Which sideband is normally used for 10-meter HF, VHF, and UHF single-sideband communications?

Upper sideband.

  1. Lower sideband
  2. Upper sideband ✔
  3. Inverted sideband

Why: By convention, hams use upper sideband on 10 meters and on all VHF and UHF bands. It keeps everyone tuned the same way.

Huh, didn't know that: Single sideband is a form of amplitude modulation.

The dad joke
Why did the SSB signal take the upper side? It wanted to stay on the bright side.
