  1. A shock absorbing feature ✔
  2. A padded waist belt
  3. A longer lineman's belt

Why: A properly used full body harness keeps you from hitting the ground. Its tether has a shock absorbing feature, so the stop is less violent.

Huh, didn't know that: Some systems also let you lower yourself gently to the ground if you can't get back on the stand.
