What does hunter education say must NOT be within range in a safe zone of fire?
People, houses, outbuildings or domestic animals.
- Any trees taller than you
- Any other game animals
- People, houses, outbuildings or pets ✔
Why: A safe zone of fire is an area you may safely shoot into. That means no persons, houses, outbuildings or domestic animals are within range of your projectile.
Huh, didn't know that: Range here means how far your bullet or shot can travel, not how far you can see.
Why did the cow refuse to stand behind the deer? She heard it was a bad zone.
