Any kind of bear attacks you inside your tent. What does NPS say to do?

Fight back, no matter what kind of bear.

  1. Fight back ✔
  2. Play dead
  3. Hide in your sleeping bag

Why: An attack in a tent, or after a bear stalks you, often means it sees you as food. NPS says don't play dead in that case, fight back with everything you have.

Huh, didn't know that: NPS says these attacks are very rare.

The dad joke
