Why should you never burn poison ivy in a campfire?
The smoke can cause severe breathing problems.

Why: NIOSH says inhaling smoke from burning poison ivy, oak or sumac can cause severe allergic breathing problems.
Huh, didn't know that: Rinse skin right away with rubbing alcohol, a poison plant wash, or dish soap plus lots of water.
Why did the campfire refuse the poison ivy? It didn't want to get burned twice.
