You're at the lake all day. How often should you put on more sunscreen?
Reapply sunscreen about every 2 hours, and after swimming or sweating, no matter the SPF.
- About every 2 hours, and again after swimming or sweating ✔
- Once in the morning is enough if it's SPF 50 or higher
- When your skin starts looking a little pink
Why: Sunscreen wears off as you swim, sweat, and towel off, even the strong stuff. Put more on about every 2 hours, and right after you get out of the water. A grown-up needs about enough to fill a shot glass to cover the whole body.
