SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/aero-german-interwar-zeppelins
Which set contains only German Zeppelins built between the world wars?
Graf Zeppelin, Hindenburg, and Graf Zeppelin II were all German Zeppelins.
- Akron, Macon, and Shenandoah
- Graf Zeppelin, Hindenburg, and Graf Zeppelin II ✔
- Clipper, Comet, and Constellation
Why: Germany built these three giant airships between the wars: LZ 127, LZ 129 and LZ 130. Akron, Macon and Shenandoah were American airships.
Huh, didn't know that: Zeppelins are named for Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, who pioneered rigid airships.
Why did the Zeppelin bring a map? It did not want to drift off topic.
