Search, Ask SESK, SESK Drive mode and 30 new courses

October 11, 2026

  • Search every card: Find any card by section, category and topic, then narrow it to a course or a level. Play the cards you found as their own game.
  • Ask SESK answers right away: Type a question and Ask SESK answers from our cards and help pages. Still stuck? Send it to the SESK team from the same box. Emergencies get the 911 and Poison Control numbers first.
  • Help pages: Short answers about signing in, kids and PINs, scores, streaks, certificates, study games and more.
  • SESK Drive mode: The Stuff Everyone Should Know Driving Game: play any test with your ears. Each card and its answers are read out loud; after the beep, say A, B or C, or tap. Get it right and you hear a dad joke; miss it and you hear why. Your points count like they do in the game.
  • Answer out loud in the game: Tap the 🎤 button in the game to say your answer instead of tapping it.
  • 30 new courses: Pets (dog, cat, horse, bird, reptile, fish, small pet and backyard chicken owners), work and trades (electrician, HVAC tech, welder, woodworker, engineer, technology expert, AI expert, new business owner and founder), everyday life (homeowner, solar owner, dad, teen money, traveler, skier, angler, astronomer) and traveler phrases in Spanish, German, Portuguese, Japanese and Russian.
  • More cards for SESK Everyone and SESK Kids: Hundreds of new cards, each written by one AI, checked by a different one, and checked against its sources.
  • New store prices: Updated pre-order prices for the boxed game, SESK Kids, printed test decks and SESK gear. Pre-orders take no payment.

Certificates, Done for now, sounds and invites

  • Certificates: Learn every card of a test and get a certificate with its own check code, as a page and a PDF. Private health courses print on your device only.
  • Done for now: Stop any time to see this session's score, your progress on the whole test, and a picture you can share.
  • Daily Sprint: A timed race of the same 10 cards for everyone on a test that day, plus challenges you can send a friend.
  • Sounds: A sparkle when you are right, an uh-oh when you miss, and a fanfare every third in a row. Turn them off with the 🔊 button.
  • Invite friends: Share your invite link and get 10 points when a friend joins and plays.
  • Civil Air Patrol courses: Cadet and aerospace courses for CAP cadets.

Make a Study Game, jokes you vote on, and the store

  • Make a Study Game: Upload a study guide as photos or a PDF and get your own game to play and share with your class.
  • Two jokes per answer: Vote for the funnier joke, or send both to the Dad-a-base. The jokes players like best stay.
  • References and Challenge this answer: Every answer links to its sources. Think one is wrong? Challenge it and we check it again.
  • Continue with Google: Sign in with your Google account (13 and older).
  • Store pre-orders: Printable tests, expansion packs, printed decks and SESK gear, all as pre-orders.
  • Scores and streaks screens: Tap the 🔥 or ★ at the top of the game to see your streak, your scores and your rank on every test.

Accounts, families and courses

October 8, 2026

  • Sign in with a code: No password: we email you a 6-digit code. Your score, streak and courses follow you to any device.
  • Families and kids: Kids under 13 get set up by a parent and sign in with a PIN. Kids are never emailed.
  • Courses: Study for a real test or a special topic: citizenship, pilot, drone, ham radio, boater, hunter, survival skills and more, each as its own course.
  • Leaderboard and birthdays: See the top players on the home page, and get a birthday bonus.
  • Free printable party game: Print the first 50 cards and play SESK at the table.
