How do later flights handle a squadron column movement?
They continue marching until their flight commander gives the movement.
- They all turn immediately
- They wait at attention
- They continue to the turning area ✔
Why: The leading flight turns first on the squadron command. Later flights keep marching, then turn on their own flight command near the same location.
Huh, didn't know that: In a column movement done in order, the lead flight commander repeats the squadron command; the others say CONTINUE THE MARCH.
Why did the flights take turns? The corner was not wide enough for a group chat.
