SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/cap-orientation-pilot-in-command
On a cadet orientation flight, who remains in command at all times?
The pilot, even if the cadet handles the controls.
- The cadet
- The squadron commander
- The pilot ✔
Why: Cadets may handle the controls in the air, but the adult CAP pilot is always responsible. The pilot flies the takeoff and landing.
Huh, didn't know that: CAP orientation pilots have over 200 hours as pilot in command in the class of aircraft they fly.
Why did the student study on the airplane? He wanted a higher education.
