SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/cap-rocket-no-flammable-payload
Under the model rocket safety code, what must you never put in your rocket?
A flammable or explosive payload.
- A parachute or streamer
- A lightweight nose cone
- A flammable or explosive payload ✔
Why: A model rocket should be a safe, controlled flier. Putting anything flammable or explosive inside would turn a hobby into a hazard.
Huh, didn't know that: The code says to use only certified, commercially made rocket motors and never tamper with them.
