What does the President's Cabinet do?

It advises the President.

  1. Advises the President ✔
  2. Writes federal laws
  3. Decides Supreme Court cases

Why: The Cabinet is made up of the heads of major departments and other top officials. Their job is to advise the President. Congress writes laws and the courts decide cases.

Huh, didn't know that: The first Cabinet had four members: Secretary of State, Secretary of the Treasury, Secretary of War, and Attorney General.
