What is required to fly a Part 107 drone within 30 minutes after official sunset?
Anti-collision lighting, because it is civil twilight.

- Operation in a rural area
- Lighted anti-collision lighting ✔
Why: Outside Alaska, the 30 minutes after official sunset is civil twilight. Part 107 requires lit anti-collision lighting visible for 3 statute miles during civil twilight.
Huh, didn't know that: Outside Alaska, morning civil twilight is the 30 minutes before official sunrise.
Why did the drone put on its lights at sunset? It wanted to be the bright spot in everyone's evening.
