Under Part 107, a small drone must yield the right of way to whom?

All aircraft, plus airborne, launch and reentry vehicles.

  1. Only airplanes carrying passengers
  2. All aircraft ✔
  3. Only aircraft in distress

Why: Section 107.37 says every small drone must yield the right of way to all aircraft. Yielding means giving way and not passing over, under or ahead unless well clear.

Huh, didn't know that: Part 107 also bans flying so close to another aircraft that it creates a collision hazard.

The dad joke
Why is the drone so polite? It was raised to always yield.
