Which term means cleaning recovered refrigerant for reuse in equipment owned by the same owner?
Recycle: clean it and reuse it for the same owner.
- Recover
- Reclaim
- Recycle ✔
Why: Recycling extracts refrigerant and cleans it, usually by separating oil and running it through filter-driers. Unlike reclaiming, it does not need to meet full purity specs, so it stays with the same owner.
Huh, didn't know that: EPA's definition of recycling does not cover motor vehicle air conditioners, which have their own rules.
Why did the air filter break up with the exhaust fan? Because it felt unappreciated, always taking the dirt and never getting any fresh air!
