What determines the frequencies a ham station may transmit on?

The license class of the control operator.

  1. The frequencies printed on the license
  2. The highest license held by anyone present
  3. The control operator's license class ✔

Why: The control operator's license class sets the station's transmitting privileges. A Technician at an Extra's station still only gets Technician privileges.

Huh, didn't know that: If the control operator is not the station licensee, both are responsible for proper operation.
