How much current is required to deliver 120 watts at a voltage of 12 volts DC?
10 amperes.
- 0.1 amperes
- 12 amperes
- 10 amperes ✔
Why: Rearrange the power formula to I = P divided by E. Dividing 120 watts by 12 volts gives 10 amperes.
Huh, didn't know that: At 24 volts, the same 120 watts would require 5 amperes.
Why did 120 watts cut itself into 12-volt slices? So everyone got 10 amps.
