Electrical current is measured in which unit?

Amperes, often shortened to amps.

  1. Amperes ✔
  2. Volts
  3. Watts

Why: Current is the flow of electrons through a circuit, and we count it in amperes. Volts measure electrical push and watts measure power.

Huh, didn't know that: The ampere is named for French scientist Andre-Marie Ampere.

The dad joke
Why are electricians always so well informed? They keep up with current events.
