Except for special cases, what is the max PEP output for Technicians above 30 MHz?
1500 watts PEP, the same top limit as every license class.
- 500 watts
- 1500 watts ✔
- 100 watts
Why: Above 30 MHz, Technicians can generally run up to 1500 watts PEP, the legal maximum for all hams. A few bands and situations have lower limits.
Huh, didn't know that: Technicians share every amateur band above 50 MHz with the higher license classes.
How does a ham lift weights? With 1500 watts of power.
