What frequency range is called VHF?

30 MHz to 300 MHz.

  1. 300 MHz to 3000 MHz

Why: VHF, very high frequency, covers 30 to 300 MHz. HF is 3 to 30 MHz, and UHF is 300 to 3000 MHz.

Huh, didn't know that: The 6-meter and 2-meter ham bands are both in the VHF range.
