As a radio wave's frequency increases, what happens to its wavelength?

The wavelength gets shorter.

  1. It gets longer
  2. It stays the same
  3. It gets shorter ✔

Why: Radio waves all travel at the speed of light. So when more waves pass each second, each one has to be shorter.

Huh, didn't know that: That is why 2 meters is a higher frequency band than 10 meters.

The dad joke
Why are high-frequency waves so short? They never have time to grow.
