What SWR results from connecting a 50-ohm feed line to a 200-ohm resistive load?
4:1.
- 1:4
- 4:1 ✔
- 2:1
Why: For a resistive load, SWR is the larger impedance divided by the smaller. 200 divided by 50 is 4, so the SWR is 4:1.
Huh, didn't know that: A 50-ohm feed line connected to a 10-ohm resistive load gives an SWR of 5:1.
Two antennas got married. The wedding was lousy, but the reception was outstanding.
