How does the Knowledge Score work?
You earn points for learning new cards (+2), answering quickly (+1), every 5th right answer in a row (+1), your first card each day (+2), every 7th day you play (+5) and your birthday (+5). Your score never goes down.
Your Knowledge Score is the ★ number at the top of the game. The numbers are small on purpose, so a family could even keep score on paper.
| What you did | Points |
|---|---|
| Get a card right for the first time (you "learned" it) | +2 |
| Answer a new card quickly | +1 |
| A new card learned on your 5th, 10th, 15th... right answer in a row | +1 |
| Your first card of the day, right or wrong | +2 |
| Every 7th day you play | +5 |
| Your birthday, if you added it on /me/ | +5 |
| A friend joins with your invite link and plays | +10 |
Good to know:
- Cards you have already learned give 0 points when they come back.
- If you miss a new card and then get it right within about 10 minutes, it doesn't count as learned yet. Get it right again later. This stops guessing A, then B, then C.
- A miss never takes points away. Your score never goes down.
- Your level grows with your score: Know-It-Little, Know-It-Some, Know-It-Lots, Know-It-Most and Know-It-All.
- Study games made by players don't add to your score.
