How does the leaderboard work, and how do I change my name?
The leaderboard shows the top players for the past hour, today, this week, month, year and all time, with their player name, avatar, score and day streak. Signed-in players change their name or avatar on /me/. Guests show a generated name until they sign in.
The leaderboard is on the SESK home page ("Top players" in the game menu).
- Pick a time: past hour, today, this week, this month, this year or all time.
- All time ranks by Knowledge Score. The other boards add up points earned in that time.
- It shows each player's name, avatar, score and day streak. Never an email.
- Which courses you take is never shown.
- The day and week follow US Central time, and weeks start on Monday.
Changing your name or avatar
- Sign in and go to /me/.
- Tap Change name or avatar.
Pick a fun nickname, not your real full name, because it shows publicly.
Guests play under a generated name (like "Lucky Otter 4821") and can't rename until they sign in.
Kids under 13 play under a generated fun name. When they turn 13 they can pick their own.
Test runs and bots are kept off the board.
