My study game was flagged or taken down. What now?

Anyone can flag a study game or a card. If more than five different people flag a game, it comes down while we look, and we email you the reasons (never who flagged). You can remove cards and send it back, or appeal. A personal-info flag hides that one card right away.

How flags work

  • Every study game page and every card has a flag button. Reasons include wrong answer, inappropriate, personal info, cheating and copyright.
  • One flag per person per study game.
  • More than five different people flag a game: it comes down while we look. We email you (or your parent) the reasons. We never say who flagged it.
  • One personal-info flag on a card hides that card at once. It stays hidden until someone on the SESK team checks it.

What you can do

  1. Fix it: on your study game's page, tick the cards to remove and send it back. We check it again right away.
  2. Appeal: ask us to look again. The SESK review team decides, and the SESK owners have the final say.

If three of your games are taken down and stay down, you can't make new ones.

Think a study game copies your work? Email [email protected] with the game's code or link, what it copies and how to reach you. We take it down while we look.
