SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/monitor-height
Where should the top of your computer screen be for the best posture?
At or slightly below your eye level when sitting up straight.
- At eye level or slightly below ✔
- Tilted back looking up
- Looking down at your desk
Why: Your eyes naturally look slightly downward. If the screen is too high or too low, you will bend your neck and cause muscle strain.
Huh, didn't know that: Your monitor should also be about an arm's length away from your face.
What did the computer say to the doctor? I think I have a terminal illness.
