SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/pilot-passenger-currency-90-days
To carry passengers, you need 3 takeoffs and landings within the preceding how many days?
90 days, in the same category and class (and type, if required).
- 30 days
- 90 days ✔
- 60 days
Why: Rule 61.57(a) requires 3 takeoffs and 3 landings in the preceding 90 days, as sole manipulator of the controls, before acting as pilot in command with passengers.
Huh, didn't know that: In a tailwheel airplane, those 3 landings must be to a full stop.
How do you know if there is a pilot at your party? Don't worry, they will tell you.
