What should be added to bearded dragon insects just before feeding?
Dust the insects with calcium powder.
- Table sugar
- Calcium powder ✔
- Enclosure sand
Why: Many feeder insects are naturally low in calcium. Dusting them just before feeding helps correct that nutritional gap.
Huh, didn't know that: Gut-loading and dusting are separate steps, and both improve feeder quality.
