100 to 120 compressions per minute.
- 30 to 40 per minute
- 100 to 120 per minute ✔
- 200 per minute
Why: Push hard and fast at 100 to 120 compressions a minute, at least 2 inches deep for an adult. The Red Cross says let the chest return to normal after each push.
Huh, didn't know that: Red Cross guidelines give chest compressions 30 at a time in full CPR.
Why did the heart go to music class? To work on its rhythm.
