Hobart suggests what drag angle for E71T-11 self-shielded wire?
10 to 20 degrees.
- 45 to 60 degrees
- 10 to 20 degrees ✔
- 0 degrees, straight down
Why: T-11 wires should be dragged with a slight angle. Hobart also says they run with a 1/2 to 3/4 inch stickout.
Huh, didn't know that: Hobart says T-8 wires make a very heavy slag.
Why is the obtuse angle always upset? Because it is never right.
