First base.
- First base ✔
- Second base
- A free swing
Why: A batter hit by a pitch he did not swing at is awarded first base. It does not count as a hit, but it counts as reaching base for on-base percentage.
Huh, didn't know that: The ball only has to touch part of the uniform or gear, like a helmet or shin guard, to count.
