SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/drone-class-e-controlled-remainder
Which class is controlled airspace not designated A, B, C, or D?
That controlled airspace is Class E.
- Class B
- Class G
- Class E ✔
Why: Class E is controlled airspace that does not fit Classes A through D. Its floor can begin at the surface, 700 feet AGL, 1,200 feet AGL, or another charted altitude.
Huh, didn't know that: All airspace above Flight Level 600 is Class E.
Why did Class E finish the alphabet lesson early? It controlled the remainder.
