Which airspace class is uncontrolled?
Class G is uncontrolled airspace.
- Class G ✔
- Class C
- Class E
Why: Class G is the airspace not designated Class A, B, C, D, or E. It extends from the surface to the base of the controlled airspace above it.
Huh, didn't know that: A Part 107 remote pilot does not need ATC authorization solely to operate in Class G.
Why was Class G so relaxed? Nobody called it controlling.
