What is FT8?
A digital mode capable of low signal-to-noise operation.
- A digital mode for very weak signals ✔

Why: FT8 is a computer-based digital mode that can decode signals too weak for you to hear. It is popular for making contacts when band conditions are poor.
Huh, didn't know that: FT8 transmit and receive cycles each last about 15 seconds, so your computer clock must be accurate.
Why did the FT8 signal never get stage fright? It's used to performing in noisy rooms.
