What happens to the study guide I upload?

Your upload stays private and is deleted 30 days after your game goes live. Our own computers remove names, grades and other personal details first. Photos are only read by SESK's own computers; DeepSeek, an outside AI, only ever gets the cleaned-up text. The game never shows who made it.

  • Your file stays private. It is stored on our own server in a private folder, never published and never shown to other players.
  • We remove personal information first. Our own computers take out names, signatures, emails, phone numbers, addresses, student ID numbers, grades and scores, and school, class and period details. Questions about a real person you know are dropped.
  • Photos never leave our systems. Only SESK's own AI, on our own computers, looks at the pages.
  • DeepSeek, an outside AI service, helps write the cards. It only gets the text after personal information is removed. Never your file, pictures, name or email.
  • kit-search, our own search tool, checks answers against outside sources using only the question and answer text.
  • We delete your upload 30 days after your game goes live, or right away if we can't use it.
  • Your name is never on it. The game says "Made by a SESK player". Only the SESK team can see who made it.
  • Study games are public. Anyone with the code can play, it is listed at /guides/, and search engines can find it. You can unpublish it any time.

For kids under 13, we email the parent, never the kid. Full details: /privacy/.
