At DA/DH, without the required visual conditions, what must you do?
Immediately fly the missed approach.
- Immediately execute the missed approach procedure ✔
- Level off and wait for ATC instructions
- Continue descending to MDA
Why: 91.175(e) says that when the required conditions are not met at DA/DH, you must immediately execute an appropriate missed approach. Do not wait or try to improve the view by descending.
Huh, didn't know that: The AIM says to advise ATC that a missed approach will be made, and include the reason unless ATC initiated it.
I tried to catch some fog, but I mist.
